Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support and manage the organisation’s human resources functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and internal policies. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection processes.
- Schedule interviews, prepare offer letters, and manage employment documentation.
- Conduct employee onboarding and induction programmes.
Employee Records and Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files.
- Manage staff attendance, leave records, and personnel documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, letters, and correspondence as required.
Employee Relations and Compliance
- Act as a point of contact for employee enquiries and concerns.
- Support the handling of disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, organisational policies, and HR best practices.
Performance and Development
- Support performance appraisal and evaluation processes.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating staff development initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 1–4 years’ experience in a similar human resources role is preferred.
