Segun Abiri started the nonprofit organization LadeWin to break the cycle of adult illiteracy, poverty and low expectations through service and education. Ladewin Initiative International was conceived in 2012, and incorporated (RC – 2866370) as an NGO and a non-profit making organization with strategic focus on Adult Literacy, Competition & Award, Seminar, and Empowerment. This conception was promoted largely by the experience and background of the founders in the fields of Education, Social Work, Project Management, Strategic Thinking, Business Development, and Leadership.
A Non-profit Organization established for the purpose of assisting the degrading educational system while bringing sustainable development programmes to the people, in order for them to live a better, fuller and richer life, both as individual and as social units.
We aspire to be the best in Africa assisting the degrading educational system, especially adult illiteracy, vocational education and empowerment.
Through partnership, we intend to make life changing impacts in the lives of the people while standing in-between them and the government.
Everyone must know their civil expectation. As a citizen, what are your duties and responsibilities. We Orientate and re-orientate the citizens on their activities and responsibilities in civil engagement. We tell and teach them how and when to do the what.
Our mission is shrouded in United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG Goal 4 and 1) – “to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” and to “end poverty in all its forms everywhere.”
